At Warren & Bell, CPAs, no matter what accounting discipline you want to focus on, we have it.
We can confidently say that if you want to be the most well-rounded accountant you can be, there is no better place than here. We don’t have an audit or tax department. Staff members are assigned a client and are responsible for all the services provided to that client.
So every staff person prepares tax returns, completes monthly write-up, prepares sales and payroll tax returns, and is involved in issuing financial statements.
This makes them the rare accountant that can literally do it all. We also do not over-work our staff people. We strive to make our work environment as enjoyable as possible. We work 40 hour weeks normally, and bump that to 50-55 hour weeks during the busy times.
This is cliché but we try to foster a team culture. Everyone has a part to play in the firm winning. We want staff people that understand that when Warren & Bell wins, they win. We want staff that truly “own” their work and care about their position in the firm and the relationships with the clients.
We treat our people like the professionals they should be. We don’t micro-manage them because if they are truly invested in the team and rooting for Warren & Bell to win, their work will be completed timely and to the best of their abilities.
The Future
Over the last five years we have doubled in size and have added three staff accountants. We expect that trend to continue. We believe that so deeply that we are constructing a 3,500 square foot building here in Benton, Louisiana that we plan to move into by January 2025.
We pay wages and offer benefits comparable to or higher than any other local firm and are working each year to be able to offer better and better benefits to our employees. We have no doubt that within five years we will be the premier small to mid-sized firm in Northwest Louisiana.
